Alfonzo Ja'Valle Divens "Bam"

Alfonzo Ja'Valle Divens "Bam" was born March 29, 1964 in Nashville, Tennessee. He departed this life on Thursday, February 23, 2023 at Alive Hospice in Nashville, Tennessee.

Alfonzo accepted Christ at an early age and was united with the Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church. He was educated in the Metro Nashville Davidson Schools. He went on to Job Corp to learn the trade of Mechanic.

Alfonzo was employed by various companies in fields from Hospitality, Retail and Factory Work.

Alfonzo was preceded in death by his mother;, Annie Elizabeth Divens and stepfather William Eugene Campbell, He was also preceded in death by his companion of over 29 years, Bobbie Jean Starnes.

Alfonzo leaves to cherish his memories his loving and devoted son, Alfonzo J. Taylor (Crystal), honorary step-children, Shaunte Lewis, Antonio), Jesse Easley and Donald Starnes, sisters, Yvette Rutherford (Sammie) and Lupita Campbell, step-brothers, Marquis Reams (Shar) and Everett Reams, 14 grandchildren, 3 nephews and 1 niece, devoted cousin, Orlando Jones and a host of other relatives and friends.
