Adolph Bennett Jr. was born on September 14, 1943 in Nashville, Tennessee to the union of Adolph Bennett Sr. and Katherine Malone Bennett. He departed this earthly life on April 5, 2022 in Nashville, Tennessee.
Adolph was educated in the Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools system and later went on to serve his country by enlisting in the United States Army on February 16, 1965 and was honorably discharged on May 31, 1968. He united in Holy Matrimony on January 7, 1990 to Joyce A. Nicholson, they enjoyed 32 wonderful years of marriage.
Adolph accepted Christ at an early age and united with Victory Chapel. He worked for many years at Vanderbilt Hospital, Titan Trucking and Union Station Hotel. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with family.
Preceded in death by son, Michael Dewayne Bennett, and parents Adolph and Katherine Bennett.
He leaves to cherish his memories his loving wife, Joyce A. Bennett; sons, Adolph Bennett III “Chip”, daughter, Sherri (Alvin) Bennett-Evans; grandsons, Corey Dewayne Bennett, Dontae Bennett; and loving sister, Deborah Bennett and a host of loving nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
